Marlena Berkow, massage therapist and owner of A Better Massage has over 29 years of hands on experience. Her staff is exceptionally caring, compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. All therapists are skilled in deep tissue and relaxation massage as well as additional skills such as hot stone, cupping and pregnancy massage. We also have therapists able to help with medical massage and structural/rehab massage. We consult, research and continually educate ourselves to provide our clients with the highest quality of care for their specific needs. We look forward to being a part of your health care needs.

Our Massages

Our Custom Massage

A customized massage designed for your specific needs. Your therapist will work with you to create a session best suited for you. Relaxation massage, Deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapies and Reflexology are options to incorporate into your session. We offer complimentary hot packs and use only all natural, chemical free balms or oils. Based on your input your therapist will create the perfect massage to relieve, soothe & relax your body, mind and spirit, enhancing your overall well being.

Our Advanced Structural/ Medical Massage

A customized massage designed for those with specific soft tissue and structural needs such as: issues with soft tissues from overuse and strain, sciatica, back or hip pain due to structural imbalances, plantar fasciitis, headaches, recovery from injuries, scoliosis pain and complex chronic issues. Your therapist will work with you to create a session best suited for you. Cupping, Kinesio tape, heat and ice may be utilized to aid in healing. At home stretches and postural education may be shown to help support and maintain beneficial changes. All advanced massage Therapists have a minimum of 20 years hands on massage experience.

Hot Stone

Melt away your tension with smooth, heated basalt stones an ancient healing therapy. This style of massage penetrates deep, increasing circulation and easing muscle stiffness. Perfect for relieving those buried aches & pains. Add $15 to any massage time.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is designed to provide comfort and relief to mommy & baby. Massage decreases swelling of the legs, arms, and eases tension in your low back, hips and shoulders helping mommy to relax. We use special pregnancy cushions to provide comfort and safety for both you and your baby.
